The Role
As our Operational Excellence Manager within Medical Operations, you will play a key role in developing, optimising and scaling our clinical and operational processes, with particular focus on Onboarding and Lifestyle Intervention – two core components of the Yazen Model.
Your mission is to:
Enhance patient care and experience
Improve operational efficiency
Ensure high medical quality and patient safety
Enable scalable international expansion
This role combines strategic development with hands-on operational involvement, including direct patient contact within onboarding. This ensures a deep understanding of both patient needs and operational realities.
You will also contribute to innovation initiatives, particularly integrating AI and automation into clinical workflows.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
Identify and implement new working methods and tools to improve clinical processes
Ensure medical operational readiness and scalability during international market entries
Collaborate cross-functionally with Expansion, Growth, Product, Support and Medical Operations
Contribute to developing a stable and scalable pan-European operating model
Operational Excellence & Development
Working across three key areas:
Consolidation & Operational Excellence – “Stabilise before we scale”
Efficiency & Impact – “Focus on what drives patient outcomes”
Enable scalable market expansion – “Pan-European model”
You will:
Develop and optimise networks for prescription delivery and seamless patient journeys
Evaluate and improve laboratory and home-testing processes
Lead new pilots and process initiatives
Support Team Leads within Onboarding and YazenCoaches with structured improvements
Integrate and test AI-supported tools to enhance efficiency and personalisation
Implement and communicate new routines within Medical Operations
Contribute to internal education and knowledge-sharing
Quality & Innovation
Drive continuous improvement to ensure operational quality, regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction
Define and monitor clear KPIs to support data-driven decision-making
Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies into our clinical support ecosystem
Ensure alignment with Yazen’s patient-first mission and core values
Team & Stakeholder Management
Foster a collaborative, test-and-learn culture
Communicate plans, progress and outcomes clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including clinical support functions such as onboarding or similar
Experience within digital health or technology-enabled healthcare (highly valued)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
Knowledge of additional European languages (advantageous)
Hands-on operational experience with a strong drive to optimise and innovate
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
Experience working cross-functionally across teams and markets
Experience or strong interest in integrating AI and automation into healthcare operations
Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead others towards shared goals and process improvements
