Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to expertly transform user insights, market data, trends, observations, and competitive analysis into concrete ideas across both marketing and product development. These ideas should, in turn, drive faster growth and higher customer satisfaction. By combining analytical capability with creativity, the role drives the development of concepts, experiences, and messaging that create both business and user value.
The role operates hands-on as part of the marketing team, ensuring that insights do not remain at the recommendation stage but are translated into implemented solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Insight Work
Analyze quantitative data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks
Conduct competitive and market analyses
Drive user and behavioral research
Formulate and analyze hypotheses
Connect insights to business and product objectives
Market Intelligence and Brand Insight
Conduct ongoing market and trend monitoring within marketing, culture, technology, and behavior
Track competitor positioning and activity over time
Own brand tracking and interpret brand development
Measure and analyze campaign results and communication effectiveness
Translate learnings into recommendations and new creative directions
Create presentations to share insights with teams, management, and the board
Creative Development
Collaborate with creatives to develop campaign and communication concepts
Develop foundations for storytelling and creative directions
Write or contribute to creative briefs
Actively participate in ideation and production processes
Provide external agencies with insights and strategic input
Product and Experience Development
Contribute to concept development for product features and UX
Sketch, prototype, or otherwise help concretize solutions
Participate in design and development sprints
Experimentation and Performance Measurement
Continuously measure, evaluate, and refine Yazen’s marketing efforts
Initiate and design tests
Ensure learning and knowledge transfer within the marketing department and across other departments
